Proper Operator Training is essential and required by OSHA for all forklift and aerial lift operators. There are a number of different resources out there to help assist companies in properly training their employees. Both “classroom” and hands-on training should be provided. All operators should be evaluated by a qualified trainer to ensure the operator knows how to safely operate the equipment. Operators should also read and refer to equipment manuals.
